Sugar cookies v1.0
Ingredients
- 281g flour
- 0.5t baking powder
- 0.5t salt
- 170g unsalted butter, room temp
- 150g sugar
- 1 egg
- 2t vanilla extract
Method
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl
- Cream butter and sugar
- Incorporate egg and vanilla
- Add dry ingredients - mix on low until combined
- Divide dough into 2
- Roll out to 0.5cm thickness
- Cover and refrigerate overnight
- Cut dough into shapes and refrigerate again for 30 minutes
- Bake at 175C for 11-12 minutes
