Sugar cookies v1.0

Ingredients
  • 281g flour
  • 0.5t baking powder
  • 0.5t salt
  • 170g unsalted butter, room temp
  • 150g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2t vanilla extract
Method
  1. Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl
  2. Cream butter and sugar
  3. Incorporate egg and vanilla
  4. Add dry ingredients - mix on low until combined
  5. Divide dough into 2
  6. Roll out to 0.5cm thickness
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight
  8. Cut dough into shapes and refrigerate again for 30 minutes
  9. Bake at 175C for 11-12 minutes
